December is always a special month for me. This is the year when family and friends gather to celebrate a vacation. I always enjoy spending time with people I love and extended family. And the holiday season is the perfect opportunity to do that.
There are so many different things to be loved about December. Where I live, the weather is usually cold but not too snowy, which I’m happy. I like to spend time in the room, drink hot cocoa, and planning.

Of course, the best part of December is Christmas. For example, I like to wake up in the morning of Christmas and get ready for lunch for Christmas with my family. I always feel very lucky and grateful for everything I have.

Christmas ranking at the top of the Global holiday list in December. This is a popular holiday not only children, but even adults are waiting. Christmas is a faith festival. This is the chronological celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Both, cultural celebrations and religious connectivity.

According to the Hebrew calendar, the lamp festival was celebrated on the 25th of Kislev. The celebration continues for eight days and a continuous night. To celebrate the festival, people do lighting around Menorah, and every night, candles are added after sunset. Ninth candles, shamash candles are added which are also referred to as helpers or candles that will turn on other candles.
During the festival, blessings were carried out and people were served by traditional Hanukkah festive food such as donuts filled with jam, also known as fried sufganiyots using oil, and potato pancakes known as latkes. Another habit that was followed during Hanukkah was exchanging gifts with loved ones and playing dreidels.
Omisoka
Omisoka is considered as New Year’s Eve according to Japanese tradition. This is ranked as the festival and the second most important day. This is an important day because this is the last day of the old year. During Omisoka, the family united for the last time in the last year and enjoyed a traditional party which was a bowl of Toshi Koshi-Udon or Toshi Koshi-Soba. This tradition has a bowl of long noodles before crossing from one year to the coming year. To celebrate the celebration, people clean the entire home and purify them to eliminate the chaos last year.
In the middle of the night, many people visit the Temple or Temple for Tatsumode. Amazake was prepared at Shinto Shrines because it made the crowd’s movements easy. The festival is celebrated for seven days and every night during a family meeting, a child from the family light a candle in Kinara, after that one of the seven principles or values of African cultural talking. On the last day of December on 31, African feast is served known as Karamu.
St. Lucia Day
