I started reading manga in high school on MyReadingManga, and it quickly became one of my favorite hobbies. I read through volumes and volumes of manga, not only during school, but also on my free time. But how did my reading manga journey go over the past year? What led me to reading manga
So, I started reading manga in late 2016. At the time, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
I read a few light novels here and there but never really got into them. Then one day, I saw an article floating around on social media about how people were reading manga and how it was better than any other form of literature out there. So, naturally, I decided to give it a try and have been hooked on the experience ever since!

My favorite manga series of 2018
For the last year, I’ve been reading manga. In that time, I’ve read and enjoyed a lot of series on MyReadingManga. Here are my top five favorite manga series of 2018:
5) Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (by Hirohiko Araki)
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the longest running manga series in history. It started back in 1986 and has since spawned over twenty-eight different volumes. It follows the story of Jotaro Kujo, a young man who is constantly being dragged into bizarre adventures by his family’s arch-enemy, Dio Brando. Through these wild escapades, Jotaro gradually learns about himself and earns the love and respect of his friends. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is an incredibly detailed and elaborate series that is sure to entertain any fan of action-packed manga stories.

My Hero Academia is another long-running manga series that began back in 2012. 2018 was a great year for manga, with many new releases and classics coming back into circulation. Here are my favorite manga of 2019 on MyReadingManga
1. My Hero Academia by Kōhei Horikoshi
This popular series continues to entertain and inspire readers with its dynamic characters and action-packed scenes. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a middle school student who dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. With the help of his friends, Izuku works hard to become the best he can be and fulfill his dream.
2. Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama
Similar to My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan is an exciting and well-written series that has captured the public’s attention since it debuted in 2009. Set in a future world filled with giant creatures known as Titans, the story follows Eren Yeager and his friends as they fight to survive after being thrown out of their hometown into a world where even the slightest mistake can mean death.
3. Death Note by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata
Death Note is one of those manga that everyone seems to have an opinion on. Either you love it or you hate it – there’s no middle ground. Regardless of your stance on this dark thriller, there’s no denying that it’s one of the most captivating reads out there. My favorite manga of 2020
There are a lot of great manga titles out there in 2020, and it was hard to narrow it down to just five. But here they are, my favorite manga of 2020 on MyReadingManga.
1. My Hero Academia: This series is always spectacular, and this year was no exception. The characters are complex and the action is top-notch.
2. Black Clover: This is another great series that has been getting better with each installment. It’s full of adventure and suspense, and you never know what’s going to happen next.
3. Death Note: This manga has been around for many years now, but its popularity continues to grow. It’s a dark but exciting read that will keep you hooked from beginning to end.
4. Attack on Titan: This is one of my all-time favorite manga series, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon thanks to its incredibly popular anime adaptation released last year. The gore factor is definitely high though!
5. Tokyo Ghoul: I’m a big fan of horror manga, and Tokyo Ghoul definitely delivers in that genre. It’s dark, twisted, and thrilling from start to finish – perfect for a spooky October weekend reading session!
